Critter Corner is a gift shop in Indigo Park, located near the entrance to the park.

Overview

Critter Corner was the main gift shop for Indigo Park merchandise while the park was active, as well as the primary source of the Critter Cuff wristband. The most prominent displays of merchandise in Critter Corner are for the plush toys of Rambley the Raccoon, Mollie Macaw, Finley the Sea Serpent, and Lloyd The Lion. Large display versions of each plush type sit atop the shelves in the center of the shop.

Other paraphernalia sold within the shop include T-shirts depicting the four mascots, Rambley Ears, and character keychains of all the main park mascots, including Salem the Skunk. Portrait-oriented monitors on either side of the entrance leading out typically display advertisements featuring two additional T-shirts, one of the park logo and the other being alternate Mollie shirt, but can be taken over by Rambley. Most of the gift shop's roof is collapsed, and the back right corner of the shop is blocked off by debris.

The Critter Cuffs are retrieved from the checkout counter, lowered from a storage area above through a transparent pipeline. The Critter Cuff pipeline is presumably activated by a human Rangler at the register, but it can also be activated by Rambley as he interacts with a guest (such as the player) via a monitor attached to a mechanical arm behind the counter. After Rambley grants the player their Critter Cuff and uses the monitor to provide a rundown of its features, the mechanical arm breaks down.

After the player dons the Critter Cuff, Rambley playfully tests them on its use by having the entrance to Critter Corner "mysteriously lock," prompting the player to use the Critter Cuff on the nearby scanner to open the door and "save the day."

Trivia

• As explained in the reaction stream, UniqueGeese was careful to put all the main mascot plush collectables in the entrance area prior to reaching Critter Corner, to prevent confusion when the player comes across non-collectable plushies in the store and consequently miss their collectable versions.
  • Two main mascot plushies that do appear beyond the entrance, the Gold Rambley Plush and Retro Lloyd Plush, are limited-edition merchandise that do not appear in Critter Corner due to their runs likely having ended some time prior to the park's closure.
• The T-shirts that physically appear in the gift shop are real game merchandise that can be purchased from the official Indigo Park Shop, as is the logo tee seen advertised on one of the wall monitors.
• As of Chapter 1, the character keychain of Salem the Skunk is the only piece of merch for the character that can be seen in the park.
