Mollie's Landing Pad is a location in Chapter 1 of Indigo Park.
Overview[]
Mollie’s Landing Pad is a massive indoor playground area inside Jetstream Junction with a tropical theme, consisting mainly of green colors with a mix of warm colors throughout. It is entered from the back left corner of the lobby via Critter Cuff scan.
The main area of the play place is a larger padded room with a ball pit in the center filled with blue plastic balls, with a triple set of yellow slides descending into it from behind. Two sets of padded stairs on either end of the ball pit lead to the platform where the slides begin, which is tented below the climbing tubes of the upper level. A large double door is built into the back wall behind the slides, which is sealed shut when the player arrives.
At floor level, the wall to the left has a sealed climbing tube entrance built into it with the words, "LET'S PLAY!" written above it. Three four-bladed propellers are built into the wall on either end of the tube entrance, one to its left in a purple circle and two to its right in a blue and green circle each. The opposite wall holds two additional propellers on red and yellow circles each, with artwork of Rambley the Raccoon to their right. The blades of each propeller are marked with shapes on their end: triangle, star, square, and circle.
The front wall of Mollie's landing pad is painted sky blue with fluffy white clouds, while a purple star is graffiti-painted into the corner near the purple propeller, nudging the player to rotate the propeller to place the star-tipped blade on top. Doing so unlocks the nearby climbing tube but also shorts out the lights in the play area and distorts the speaker music.
The tube leads upwards into a jungle gym of sorts in the Landing Pad's upper sections, filled with bridges and climbing tubes that overlook the floor level. The first thing the player sees when entering this section is Mollie Macaw running past from the other side of a play area fence and up another level. Should the player choose to enter the climbing tube opposite the direction she ran, they will climb through a short distance before spotting Mollie peering from the other end. She quickly retreats, dripping blood. At the end of the tunnel is a sky-painted wall with a hollow yellow circle graffiti-painted onto it, with a vertical tunnel in the floor in front of it that drops down to the end of the starting tube.
Should the player walk around the fence and follow in the direction Mollie was seen running in, the pathway up leads to a bridge overlooking an inaccessible side area with its own ball pit and a yellow tube slide leading into it. The bridge has a gap with a trampoline to jump across it; if the player misses and falls into the ball bit below, they respawn at the start of the bridge. In the corner of the sky-painted walls surrounding the ball pit, a red star is graffiti-painted. At the other end of the bridge, a tube to the right leads to above the main play area, with a purple dome overlooking the floor level below and another bridge straight ahead.
Another tube from there leads to another side area to the right of the Landing Pad, with a graffiti-painted green triangle on the wall ahead. A bridge, previously viewed from outside through the earlier purple dome, crosses back over the main play area and ends at another trampoline that launches the player to a tunnel higher up, where they find another trampoline to launch them higher still. This leads directly to a blue star graffiti-painted directly onto the tunnel wall ahead. A tube to the right leads down, where the player narrowly misses another Mollie sighting as she retreats again. The tube leads to a tunnel containing a vertical tube that drops down to the triple slide platform in the main area.
The player must rotate the yellow, red, green, and blue propellers to the shapes that were painted in their corresponding colors to proceed. Doing so casts a green light on all the propellers to indicate the puzzle was properly cleared, and the double door in the back of the room opens. A large padded stairwell on the other side of the door leads straight up to a yellow tube that trails downwards into a padded hall separated in the middle by a plateau with stairs on either end. A tunnel on the opposite end, fenced on other side with inaccessible tubes visible through the fencing, leads to a sliding door that requires the Critter Cuff to open.
A hallway running perpendicular to the tunnel ends to the left with a blue tube, sealed shut, and to the right with another sliding door. Two additional tubes are built into the tunnel leading to the second sliding door; one blocked off by a large Mollie Plush and a blue cone, and the other by blue cube and a bright orange ball. Before the player can reach the sliding door, Mollie forces the door open from the other side and screeches at the player before charging at them. As Mollie forces her way in, the blue tube at the other end of the hall opens to begin the long chase ahead. If Mollie catches the player, a cutscene initiates in which she pins them down and fatally pecks at them. The player is then able to respawn, taking them back to the tail end of the tube behind the large double door.
At the start of the chase, the player must enter the opened blue tube, leading them to a fork with one tube to the left and another straight ahead. They must take the one to the left, as Mollie will be waiting in the other. The correct path takes the player through another gap over a ball pit and a trampoline going up, leading to a tube ahead and a bridge to the left. Again, Mollie will crawl out of the tube ahead, so the bridge to the left must be taken. A trampoline launches the player up another level, but a gap in the path ahead drops them back down. This pattern repeats until the player, at ground level, finds a hole broken through the wall into a hallway behind the Landing Pad.
The player's only escape route at this point is the ventilation system, which leads to a red-lit hallway with security cameras, allowing Rambley to spot them. Seeing Mollie on the hunt behind them, Rambley quickly registers them as an employee to permit them into a staff-only room and shut the door behind them, which ends up decapitating Mollie in the process. It is here that Rambley finally admits to the poor state of the park and asks the player to help him restore it.

Trivia[]
- Mollie's Landing Pad in the launch version of the game was a generic rainbow-colored environment, and the puzzle to unlock the back door utilized spinning cubes. Its environment was redesigned in the v1.1 Update to better fit the theme of Mollie Macaw.
- The shapes you need to put in are not randomized so speed runners can unlock the door without ever opening the slide.
- Most of the plastic balls in the ball pit are anchored in place, as too many balls moving at once would have generated too much lag.
- The launch version of Mollie's Landing Pad featured no rendered ceiling, which resulted in the area being much darker after the lights went out without use of the flashlight. This was changed in the v1.1 update.
- The climbing tubes are similar in design to ones featured in Reincarnated, the game UniqueGeese worked on prior to Indigo Park. Given their shared head developer, it is possible that elements of Mollie's Landing Pad are inspired by the previous project.
