“ It's Mollie Macaw! The greatest pilot you ever saw!
—Mollie introducing herself in Rambley's Railroad
Overview
Mollie Macaw is the main antagonist in the first chapter of the indie horror game Indigo Park. During the events of the first chapter, she stalks and eventually chases Ed. As a fictional character in the context of the game, Mollie is a major mascot of Indigo Park and the best friend of Rambley the Raccoon, appearing with him in the Rambley & Pals animated franchise. She is portrayed as a mechanic and pilot who builds and crashes her own airplanes[1], having her own dedicated section of the park named Jetstream Junction with Rooftop Races as its main ride.
Additionally, she stars in her own pirate-themed spinoff series titled Mollie, Ahoy! The series premiered on November 20, 2013 and introduced Mollie's crew; Chip, Pip, and Tiki; as well as her arch-nemesis Skurv the Coyote.
Alongside her animated appearances, Mollie acts as the spokesmacot for the Bird Up soda brand and can be seen drinking it in printed advertisements.
Character Description
Oh look! It’s Mollie Macaw, the greatest pilot you ever saw! This aviator parrot loves to take to the skies in planes of her own creation! We all know she’s qualified… but her crashing habit isn’t helping her case. A fun-loving, brash, and loyal bird who would do anything to protect her friends! Meet Mollie today, only at Indigo Park in [REDACTED].
Appearance
Mollie is a blue-and-yellow macaw with a dark gray beak and a pilot hat. In her depictions around the park, she has a white scarf, brown jacket, and dark green pants. Her physical form seems to lack the jacket and pants, and has hollow black eyes with glowing white pupils. Her cartoon form has large eyelashes, and her arms are entirely wings, while her real appearance only has one small eyelash each beneath her eyes and black human-like hands with large talons.
Gameplay
Chapter 1
Stalking
Throughout the game, Mollie can occasionally be seen in the shadows or running behind corners, starting in Rambley's Railroad and briefly continuing in Lloyd's Main Stage Theater. When the player walks closer, each time she is seen she becomes less and less cautious, becoming more visible as she deems the player less of a threat.
Mollie's Landing Pad
Mollie's stalking builds up until the player reaches Mollie's Landing Pad where, after they enter the slide tunnels, Mollie is clearly visible stalking the player, running behind a net wall, crawling backwards in a tunnel, and watching from around corners.
Mollie’s Chase
Once the player completes the puzzle in the first area of the Landing Pad, a door opens at the top of the slides. As the player goes through the attraction, they are eventually met with a door that Mollie forces her way through. Mollie then gives chase, occasionally squawking various phrases she has heard in the past, and the player must go down the previously closed slide on the opposite side of the room. As the player is chased through more of the play area, they eventually enter a hallway through a hole in a wall, where their only way forward is through a vent leading to a hallway outside a Staff Only area. Rambley greets the player as they exit the vent and tells them that the room they are about to enter is Staff Only, to then realize they are being chased by Mollie, and grants the player Rookie Rangler status so they are allowed entry. The player is stuck in the room at the end of the hallway as Mollie to come closer, only for the mechanical door they entered through to quickly slam shut, decapitating Mollie in the process.
Abilities
Being a species of parrot (the blue-and-yellow macaw), Mollie has the ability to mimic any speech that she's heard. Her game over screen warns the player to not be deceived, though this ability was not used as a gameplay function. Mollie also boasts the ability to at least enhance her jumps by using her wings to propel herself farther than the player can jump, though it is not known if she could attain actual flight.

Trivia
- Mollie's beta model was reused from the Reincarnated version of Opila Bird from the Garten of Banban franchise. This model was used at the end of the first teaser trailer before Mollie's design was finalized, which created initial assumptions that Indigo Park was a continuation of Reincarnated, UniqueGeese's previous project.
- While the living animal version of Mollie, as with the others like her, took off the costumes they were made to wear after the park was abandoned, she kept her aviator helmet on because she was emotionally attached to it and was comforted by it. This was explained by a side story written by the development crew that was never explained in-game.[2]
- On a stream, UniqueGeese stated he is "down with" the idea of her being a lesbian.[3]
- Blood visibly splatters in her jumpscare, as she seemingly gouges the player's neck open or rips their head off. Ironically, she dies in the same way, being decapitated by a closing door.
- She is the first and only mascot character who has died, so far.

- ↑ UniqueGeese: "'Why do the mascots not have clothes like their cartoon versions?' We went back and forth with that a lot. The park's been abandoned for (...) years, and if you've ever tried to keep a sweater on a cat, it's not gonna stay on for very long. Definitely not for (...) years, so that was our thought. Mollie still has the helmet because we wrote up this whole side story about how she's emotionally attached to it and how it's a comforting thing for her. Kinda fucked up that we never explained that story and then just killed her." (see "Reacting to YouTubers Playing My Game! (Indigo Park)" at 6:12:24)
